Hey u heard c Angeli ay "Best new female recording artist" (Sabi Mo Lang Pala) ah..galing ni Angeli..WHO’S WHO IN LOCAL MUSIC SCENE THE 19TH Awit Awards will be held at the Casino Filipino Theater on Sucat Road, Paranaque, at 8 tonight. Everybody who’s anybody in the local music scene will be there. ONE of the finalists in the best performance by a new female recording artist category is Viva’s 16-year-old Angeli Mae.
She was in the first batch of Star In A Million, where Sarah Geronimo won. She was only 13 then.
It was Angeli’s father who told her that she was a nominee and she thought it was a big joke. She is excited as she awaits the results tonight. She interprets Sabi Mo Lang Pala, culled from her CD lite which was released by Viva Records in October.
Angeli Mae used to blend voices with Musika and Athena. She is a 3rd year high school student who wants to make it big in the singing field.
Another finalist who we recently noticed was dressed as if it were already the awards night is April. Just that, no surname. Her rendition of Stay Real landed her in the finalists list.
The others vying for the plum are Nikki Gil, Karel Marquez and Maoui David.

After extensive screening, judging and tallying, here is the Official list of the 19th Awit Awards Finalists.
